Unity March Buses
Join us on Saturday, June 25 for the Unity March.  Buses will be made available from NYC, NJ, and Philadelphia.  Sign up to coordinate a group of your friends and mobilize your network to come down for the day.  If you heard this from one of the groups you are with, sign up here and note who you are affiliated with. Buses will leave early morning and arrive in Washington DC by 11:30 am.  The Unity March activities are scheduled from 12 Noon - 3:30 PM.  The buses will leave DC late afternoon so you can arrive back home that same evening.  We will CONFIRM YOUR SEAT & SEND YOU INSTRUCTIONS on next steps.  In the meanwhile, begin to organize and secure participants to fill these seats on the buses and reserve your seat.

BACKGROUND: From Vincent Chin to the Atlanta spa murders, Asian American communities have continuously faced cycles of race-based hate. However, in the 40 years since Vincent Chin, we have seen an exponential growth in the influence and power of Asian American and Pacific Islander communities at the polls, in the media, and as economic contributors.

To show our strength and demand change, APIAVote, Gold House, Americans Advancing Justice | AAJC , and other major Asian American-led organizations came together to organize the Unity March in Washington DC on June 25. This march will draw on our collective influence to demand action for inclusive democracy, full representation, and to combat anti-Asian hate.

Attacks driven by hate against Asian Americans and all communities must stop, and the only way to ensure action is taken and our voices are heard is to leverage our collective power. We need your help to spread the word and get people to Washington for a day of inspiring programming featuring award-winning producer and trans rights advocate Geena Rocero, Pulitzer Prize-winning journalist Jose Antonio Vargas, civil rights activist Rev. Al Sharpton, and R&B/Pop artist Thuy.   For more information go to, www.UNITYMARCH.COM
