2019 Hawaii Census Trainings
APIAVote is bringing the Norman Y. Mineta Leadership Institute (NYMLI) to the Hawaii on September 18-25 for a series of engaging trainings about the Census. Learn how to make sure our families and friends get counted in the 2020 Census. Let's help our community get the resources and respect it deserves!

The training will cover how the Census impacts Asian American, Native Hawaiian, and Pacific Islander community communities, how to talk about its importance, and how to ensure a complete county in the upcoming 2020 Census.

The start of outreach for 2020 Census is only a few months away and we must mobilize our families and friends to participate. More than $2 billion in federal funding for programs such as Medicaid, early childhood education, and housing assistance is at stake for Hawaii.
